General Peter Pace under fire for standing against immorality

In the interview he expressed his opinion: "I believe homosexual acts between two individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts," Pace said in a wide-ranging discussion with Tribune editors and reporters in Chicago. "I do not believe the United States is well served by a policy that says it is OK to be immoral in any way."That, and other statements about the U.S. military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy have caused him to come under fire from homosexual activist groups and the national media for saying that homosexual acts are immoral. Demoratic Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama have both issued statements indicating their belief that homosexuality is not immoral. Meanwhile, Senator Sam Brownback released a letter March 14 in support of General Peter Pace, to be circulated among his Senate colleagues for signatures.
